It is always important to be knowledgable of your insurance coverage. Please call your insurance company prior to your appointment and ask if you have coverage for hearing aids.
For private pay patients, a nonrefundable deposit is due at the time the order is placed with the remaining balance due at the time of fitting.
For individuals with insurance coverage for hearing aids through HealthPartner and BCBS of Minnesota, a nonrefundable deposit per is due at the time the order is placed. The remaining balance minus the amount assumed to be payed by insurance is due at the time of fitting.
For individuals with hearing aid coverage through Medica, BCBS out of state, or any other insurance plan MHAPI is not a provider of, a nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of ordering with the remaining balance due at the fitting. At the end of the 45 day trial period, MHAPI will submit your claim to your insurance company, and your insurance company will reimburse you.
