Assistive Listening Devices

In some cases, specialized devices may be recommended instead of, or in addition to, hearing aids.  These assistive listening devices can help improve listening in particularly challenging environments, such as classrooms, meetings, and places of worship.  There are also devices that help a person with hearing loss detect important environmental sounds such as a telephone, doorbell, or smoke alarm.  The audiologist will work with you to determine which assistive listening devices are needed.
